Welcome to our Beginner Kids Equestrian Horse Camp—an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of horses! This camp is designed especially for young riders with little to no experience, creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can build confidence while learning essential horsemanship skills.
Each day, campers will spend time getting to know our gentle, well-trained horses through grooming sessions, where they’ll learn how to properly brush, clean hooves, and care for their equine partners. They’ll also be introduced to tack identification, gaining familiarity with saddles, bridles, and other equipment, along with how to use them correctly.
Campers will develop basic horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle. Groundwork activities will teach communication, safety, and respect between horse and rider, while supervised horseback riding lessons will focus on balance, posture, steering, and control at a beginner level.
In addition to horse time, creativity is part of the fun! Each day includes a themed craft project, allowing campers to express themselves while reinforcing what they’ve learned—whether it’s decorating horseshoes, creating horse-themed art, or making keepsakes to take home.
