Welcome to our Experienced Riders Equestrian Camp—an immersive and dynamic program designed for confident young equestrians ready to expand their skills across multiple riding disciplines. This camp is ideal for riders who can independently walk and trot their horse and are eager to deepen their horsemanship in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Each day, campers will focus on a different discipline, allowing them to explore and build a strong foundation in areas such as jumping, obstacle work, contesting (including barrels and poles), and liberty. Through structured lessons and guided practice, riders will break down the fundamentals of each discipline—developing balance, control, timing, and effective communication with their horse.
In jumping sessions, riders will work on position, rhythm, and approach using ground poles and introductory courses. Obstacle days will challenge horse-and-rider teamwork through trail-style elements that build confidence and problem-solving skills. During contesting, campers will learn patterns and techniques for speed events like barrels and poles, focusing on precision and control. Liberty sessions will introduce groundwork techniques that strengthen trust and connection without tack.
Beyond riding, campers will spend dedicated time each day refining their grooming and tacking skills, learning efficiency, proper fit, and horse comfort. They will also dive deeper into horse and barn care, gaining a greater understanding of feeding routines, stall management, and overall horse wellness.
